Labor Day in Newnan is going to have a full docket with everything from merchants to music to a road race.

The Labor Day Sidewalk Sale starts Friday September 3rd at 9am and goes through Saturday evening.  The downtown merchants will have all their lovely wares out for your perusal.

Saturday starts with the 7am Sunrise on the Square Road Race.  This is an one-mile fun run through the streets of Newnan. Registration is only 20.00.  And they’ll have cash prizes to give away.

Saturday will also be the Market Day where you can buy home grown goodies.  From 11am through the afternoon there will be Pickin’ in the Square where musicians will be jamming (it is open to everyone) in the Courthouse Square.
